Celebrating Health Day has become a tradition at ILS, and this year some of our high school students set off in search of adventure.
The first group, which included 11th graders from sections 11A and 11M, went to the village of Anisimovka to see the Smonly waterfalls: Malysh (Baby), Trekhglavy (Three-headed), Medvezhy (Bear) and Gremuchy (Thunder), each of which is named for the spring on which it is located. Smolny Spring is a small wilderness river that runs from the Pidan mountain ridge through a shaded valley. Our students enjoyed the magnificent views and took a great many beautiful photographs.
