ILS 10th grader Polina Savchenko (teacher - Valentina Kovaleva) won the gold medal in literature at the city stage of the All-Russian School Olympiad, with 11th graders Daria Kikta (teacher - Natalya Lyalko) also taking a top prize.
ILS 8th grader Mark Boyko took 5th place in mathematics at the competition.
"We are very proud of our students and their teachers," notes ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko, "and we wish them further success at academic competitions."
