This year's event, the 4th International Children's Jazz Festival-Competition, continued the annual trend of increasing participation, while adding a new component: competition.

1st place - ILS Ensemble; teacher: Xu Hongyu (China); concert master: Olga Sergienko. Ensemble performed Claude Bolling's "Irlandaise".
Category: Small instrumental ensemble, middle age group
1st place - Sonya Selivonchik and Mikhail Zelensky, ILS; teacher: Xu Hongyu (China). The students performed Dave Brubeck's "Take Five".
Category: Vocal, younger age group B
3rd place - ILS, Cho Yezi, Kim Haein and Arya Saumya; teacher: Xu Hongyu (China) . The students performed the Korean jazz song "Happy things".
Category: Orchestra/chorus, younger age group B
3rd place - ILS Choir; teacher: Xu Hongyu (China); the students performed M. Slavkin's "Mayachok".
Category: Solo instrument, middle age group, strings
3rd place - Lev Novitsky, ILS; teacher: Olga Sergienko. Lev performed Z. Kosm's "Autumn leaves".
