The ILS school newspaper Fox Tales was among the winners at the VIII All-Russian School Publications Competition “School format,” taking first place in the category “Best design.”

The founders of the competition, which was held at the Evrika Private School in Saratov, are the International UNESCO Department of the University of Management TISBI and the Volga Coordination Center of the UNESCO Associated Schools Project. This is the fourth time Fox Tales has been honored at the competition, with previous victories coming in the categories “Best international ties” (2016), “Best interview” (2017) and “Best article about the UNESCO Associated Schools Project” (2018). This year Fox Tales was singled out for its excellent design.

This year’s winning ILS authors in the “School format – 2019” competition were:

• Yelizaveta Rudenko, 8M1, for “Success comes from properly placed priorities”
• Ksenia Didik, 11A, for “IB diploma with scores of 41 and 43”
• Veronika Zhandarmova, 11A, for “Greetings, Vladivostok!”
• Lina Van, 9M1, for “Autumn at ILS: New knowledge + exchange of experience”
• Denis Predit, 8M1, for “Let’s meet two of our Korean friends”
• Yun Dokyung, 10M, for “Pacific Fusion jazz festival”
• Cho Yezi, 8M1, for “My first book: tales about what matters most”
• Thakur Sambhavi, 10M, for “Global school experiences
