The winner at the municipal stage of the All-Russian Olympiad was ILS 9th grader Ksenia Dudik (teacher – Yelena Ozarnikova). Second place went to 10th grader Aleksei Nomerovsky (teacher – Olga Shevchenko), while the bronze medalist was 8th grader Arina Belan (teacher – Yevgenia Tsoi).
“We congratulate our students on their success at the Olympiad,” says ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. “It is important that they understand the opportunities that knowing foreign languages creates. And our champions are studying other languages besides English: Ksenia is studying Chinese, Aleksei Korean, and Arina Japanese. We wish them new victories and success in all they do.”
