A lesson presented by a team of teachers from the International Linguistic School at the All-Russian competition “My Motherland Begins Here ...” consisting of Marina Nikitichna Artemenko, Deputy Director for Scientific and Methodological Work, Anton Sergeevich Glupak, teacher of computer science and ICT, teachers of history and social studies Alena Anatolyevna Zvereva and Alexei Anatolyevich Pakhomushkin, is called “Opening Primorye with V.K. Arseniev".
“My colleagues and I decided to dedicate our lesson to Vladimir Arsenyev, a researcher of Primorye, whose work became the basis for many generations of scientists studying the south of the Far East,” Marina Artemenko explains the idea of the lesson. – This year marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Arsenyev, and we decided to give the 9th grade students the opportunity to “walk” along the paths of the pioneers of the coastal taiga. Arseniev's personality as a researcher is so multifaceted that the teamwork of teachers of geography, history and computer science turned out to be very fruitful.
During the lesson, the teachers offered the children, using modern teaching technologies, to explore the routes of the expeditions led by Arseniev.
