The exhibition of works of art by 8th-grade students has opened at ILS on the first floor outside the school's arts and crafts rooms. The works were created at various times using various techniques, including graphics, oil, and dry pastel, with students expressing a wide range of ideas and emotions.
"A work of art mirrors the person creating it, his or her attempt to communicate with the world," says ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. "It is truly a miracle when, using artistic materials that anyone can use, students create on the canvas powerful images of the realities surrounding us. We always support the creative efforts of our students, as we believe it is creative people who can change the world for the better.
