ILS 9th graders Ilona Khlyustova, Eva Titkova, Kirill Trudov, Maria Nedbailova, Aleksandra Kafanova, Polina Shklyaeva and Maria Shteinikova successfully passed the DELF-DALF test, which determines a person's level of French language mastery.

"Our students are very interested in learning French," says ILS French language teacher Yelena Poddubnyak. "At the end of the last academic year, our students took the DELF-A1, and the long-awaited certificates have finally arrived in Vladivostok."

Representatives of Alliance Francaise Vladivostok awarded the students their certificates and wished them continued success in their French language studies.

"We are very pleased that the number of people studying French is increasing," notes Alliance Francaise representative Lia Andre, "and applaud these students for taking their first major step toward mastering the language."

"In April of this year, our school became a partner of the French Embassy in Russia, which makes us very proud," explains ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. "Every year the number of students at our school studying French as a second language increases, and I am certain that the knowledge they receive will serve them beyond the classroom as well."
