ILS 6th grader Daniil Nagervadze, a successful footballer for quite some time now, is a member of Luch Football Club, which emerged as the winner from a field of 16 teams at the Golden Horn International Football Tournament.
Among those competing in this traditional autumn event were teams from Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Blagoveshchensk, Fokino, Nakhodka, Artem and Ussuriisk, as well as FC Adria from Japan and Skill Storm from South Korea.
“We congratulate Daniil and his team on their victory and wish them new achievements in the future,” says ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. “Football teaches children discipline, responsibility, and teamwork while also helping to develop leadership qualities.”
