My name is Maria Ogorodnikova, I’m 11 years old, and I am a graduate of the Classical European Gymnasium. It was there that I began to study music, and now I play the piano, metallophone and hand organ. I play in the “Music box” ensemble with other students from our school. In 2020, our ensemble will celebrate its 10th anniversary.
I have participated in various international, regional and city competitions in both solo and ensemble performances. I have also taken part in the “Pacific Fusion” International Children’s Jazz Festival. We are almost always among the prize winners.
In my free time I love to read books, mainly fantasy and adventures. I am also an ice skater and a swimmer, and I play table tennis as well.
My hobbies help me in my schoolwork!
