Traditionally, foreign students and bilinguals of ILS from grades 3 to 12 participate in the Olympiad in Russian as a foreign language. For two weeks, our students performed difficult tasks that were made by teachers of the International Linguistic School.
Russian is included in the compulsory educational program for our foreign students, - explains the teacher of Russian language and literature Valentina Nikolaevna Kovaleva. – This year the school Olympiad was preceded by participation in the All-Russian campaign "Total Dictation". Our students successfully coped with the difficult part of it for foreign citizens studying Russian, and received very high scores – from 75 to 91.
- Congratulations to the students on their well-deserved victories, - says Olga Shevchenko, Principal of the International Linguistic School. – This year we have four absolute winners – a student of the 11th grade Park Se-hee, a student of the 10th grade Yu Juyun, a student of the 8th grade Yu Juyeon and a student of the 6th grade Kim Minje. They showed excellent knowledge of the Russian language and received the highest marks in all Olympiad tasks. Our school has students from the Republic of Korea,Japan, China, and India. Teachers of Russian as a foreign language Valentina Nikolaevna Kovaleva, Larisa Stepanovna Banik, Yulia Aleksandrovna Filatova, Lyubov Nikolaevna Kalinevich make a great contribution to the education of children and acquaintance with Russia.
