Do you pull yourself together and sit tight and read the airport schedule wrapped in a scarf: ILS studies the idioms of the English language and studies the accents of Russian words

The new academic year at the International Linguistic School began with new language projects. The idea of the project belongs to the coordinator of subjects of the English program Svetlana Feshchenko and the teacher of the Russian language, head of the method association of teachers of the Russian language Zhanna Belyaeva.

- This year we decided to introduce our students and colleagues the idioms of the English language, - explains Svetlana Fedorovna. – In my opinion, it is necessary to learn idioms. And it doesn't matter what level you have. With them, the language becomes richer, more beautiful, and you give the impression of a person who really knows English. It is not always easy to use Russian stress , - says the teacher of the Russian language Zhanna Dmitrievna. - Russian stress, as it is known, is not fixed, can fall on any syllable in a word, can be mobile and when changing a word can move from one part of a word to another, and stationary - cannot move from one part of a word to another when inflected.

The teacher is sure that the project on the accents of the Russian language will be especially useful for children who are preparing for the State Exams and Olympiads.
