Our journey across countries and continents continues, International Week welcomes guests from India, France, Germany, Great Britain. The presenters of the presentation of India are Pandey Anshuman, a 4th grade student from India, and Damir Magomedov, a 9th grade student from Russia. The students became guides to the world of Indian culture and introduced us to the culture, architecture, and national cuisine of this amazing, truly magical country for every European.
A group led by French language teachers Elena Vasilyevna Poddubnyak and Maria Borisovna Zhdanova tried to answer the question why the French are considered the most romantic.
The students of the German language teacher Zhanna Igorevna Moroz went on a magical journey through the cities of Germany and found themselves in a family where they make stolens, got acquainted with Gothic architecture, heard German songs ... and returned to the classroom to continue the German lesson! And the teachers-mentors of the presentation of Great Britain, computer science teacher Anton Sergeevich Glupak and Cultural Studies teacher Stanislav Sergeyevich Gerasimov decided to check whether everything is as it is in the Foggy Albion, as they write in CS textbooks. To do this Stanislav Sergeevich had to pack a suitcase and go with his students to Heathrow and see English bookstores with his own eyes, attend concerts of rock bands, come to a Manchester United match, walk around the center of London, get acquainted with the leading architects of England. By tradition, all the returning "travelers" were greeted by the fashion theater of the International Linguistic School under the leadership of Evgenia Vasilyevna Mityureva and Tatiana Nikolaevna Vetokhina.
- International Week is designed to show how we are all different and the same at the same time, - says Olga Shevchenko, principal of the International Linguistic School. - The more we learn about each other, the more we understand that the world can develop only with mutual respect for each other. The path of our students from different countries is connected by a strong friendship that will last for many years and will become the key to the most sincere and kind relations.
