Our school took part in the project of the Institute of Russian Language and Culture of Lomonosov Moscow State University "Russian Saturdays"

The International Linguistic School and the Institute of Russian Language and Culture of Lomonosov Moscow State University have a long and good friendship. For the first time, the deputy director of the IRIIK, Candidate of Philological Sciences Valery Vladimirovich Chastnyh visited our school in 2017 and together with a team of teachers, the institute held a three-day training marathon for students and teachers of the ILS.

- The idea to introduce our colleagues to Vladivostok, its "wonders" and opportunities came when we once again came to ILS this summer to hold a meeting-seminar "On the new multifunctional multimedia linguistic and cultural complex "Russia is calling you," says Valery Vladimirovich. - Coming to Vladivostok, we see every time all of our listeners have a great desire to communicate and gain new knowledge. In turn, our colleagues "open up" to us the amazing corners of the city in the east of Russia, convince us that the residents of Vladivostok are the most open, friendly, ready to overcome any difficulties to achieve the goal. We wanted to tell the participants of the "Russian Saturdays" about this amazing city in the East of Russia.

“Russian Saturday” team was formed in Vladivostok in cooperation with the teacher of the Russian language of the ILS Valentina Nikolaevna Kovaleva. According to the organizers, the guests of the "Russian Saturdays" were the writer Vasily Olegovich Avchenko, the deputy director of the Arsenyev Museum of the History of the Far East for scientific work Angelika Vitalievna Petruk, the artist Pavel Evgenievich Shugurov, the researcher of the history of Vladivostok Sergey Valentinovich Kornilov and the ILS principal Olga Stanislavovna Shevchenko. A special guest of the school and Vladivostok on this day was the writer, Rector of the Gorky Literary Institute, Doctor of Philology, Professor, member of the Presidium of the Presidential Council for Culture and Art Alexey Nikolaevich Varlamov.

- It is an honor for us to become guests of "Russian Saturdays" with their invariable host, our good friend Valery Vladimirovich," Olga Stanislavovna explains. – Every their visit to the ILS is always a meaningful study, interesting communication and new ideas for lessons of Russian and foreign languages, history, literature. And, of course, excursions for our guests. And we managed to inspire our colleagues from Moscow with our love for Vladivostok! I am very pleased that our work was highly appreciated by the Vice-rector of Moscow State University Tatyana Vladimirovna Kortava and she invited our school to participate in a new joint project.
