International Week at ILS included the international seminar-practicum "Reading for meaning and working with texts". The main speakers for the event were our guests from Shaanxi Pedagogical Institute in Xi'an China.
The presentations seminar was opened by Professor Wan Tsilun, who led the university delegation and serves as Director of the university's Foreign Languages Institute. He was followed to the podium by Hu Weipin, who is Director of the university's Laboratory of Modern Pedagogical Technologies, a division of the Chinese Ministry of Education.
"ILS is a Cambridge English Language Assessment preparation centre," explains ILS Deputy Principal Marina Artemenko. Our colleagues from other schools were most interested to see how ILS teachers perform their tasks."
