ILS sixth graders from section 6M1 spent two days learning under the TRIZ (Keys to technical inovation) system.
TRIZ was developed in the mid-20th century by scientist/engineer/inventor/teacher Genrich Altschuller. Initially, it was not intended for children, but rather for inventive tasks in science and technology. Eventually, however, educational applications were also derived.
"The main goals of TRIZ education are developing students' creative abilities and activating creative thinking for research and learning activities," explains ILS Deputy Principal Marina Artemenko.
