The traditional New Year’s Charity Fair has begun at ILS. This year we are collecting funds to help finance medical treatment for 6-year-old Alisa Beloborodova.
To prepare for the festival, ILS students and their ceramics teachers, Svetlana Globina and Lyubov Shatova, created a wide range of handsome figures, including miniature houses, wall and New Year’s tree decorations, and smiling dogs – the symbol of the New Year 2018.
“All our students from 4th grade to 12th take part in the festival, along with their teachers,” explains ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. “We know how expensive medical treatment is and how difficult it is for a family, when their child has a serious illness. Therefore, we decided to provide assistance to one specific girl and her family, and we hope this will help her to come through this safely.”
