Our school's traditional year-end concert for students, teachers and parents was a moment of revelation: a remarkable number of artistically gifted students study at our school!
For the first time, audiences saw performances by members of the Theatrical Studio, and viewers who were unable to attend this spring's International Children's Jazz Festival-Competition "Pacific Fusion" heard some of the prize-winning numbers from the event.
"A school concert is always a very significant event," notes music teacher Olga Sergienko. "After all, the young artists' classmates are in the audience. Our task is to present work done throughout the year and amaze viewers with masterful performances during the hour-long event."
"Our school devotes a great deal of attention to our students' creative development," explains ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. "Creativity is something that has a powerful influence on all aspects of our life."
