ILS 11th graders donated to the Regional Children's Oncohematological Center of Regional Children's Clinical Hospital No.1 disposable diapers and other items of personal hygiene purchased with money raised during the charity market at the 4th International Children's Jazz Festival "Pacific Fusion".
"We express our heartfelt thanks to the students for visiting and supporting our young patients," says Anastasia Malyshko, who serves as psychologist for the center and representative of the "Protect Life" Charity Fund.
"It is important to teach our teenage generation feelings of empathy, kindness and charity," explains Natalya Kostyuchenko, mother of 11th grader Semen Kostyuchenko. "Only through positive deeds and proper actions can young people learn to value everything they have."
"This is by no means the first time that our students have visited the Regional Children's Oncohematological Center ," notes ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. "With every visit, they try to bring warmth to the children there, offering them maximum attention and care."
