As a further measure to ensure the safety of its students and teachers, ILS has installed a card-based activation and control system in the building’s elevator, which makes it possible to track the elevator’s movements precisely and helps keep unauthorized persons from entering school territory.

“Our control and management system includes a wide range of functions designed to enhance school security,” explains System Administrator Vyacheslav Yaglinsky. “It assumes the function of delimiting access for every ILS employee and student. We use video monitoring throughout the school, which enables us to enhance the system’s effectiveness. A card-based activation system was installed recently in the elevator to keep unauthorized people from using the lift, thereby improving security.”

ILS also pays close attention to information security: every teacher now has their own account, making it possible to prevent outflows of data from their computer. Soon this service will be made availableto students.

“The school administration must guarantee the wellbeing of all students; we are keenly aware of our responsibility for their health and safety,” notes ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. “The school holds building evacuation trainings on a regular basis, along with security instruction. At the same time, we are doing all we can to ensure the safety of all technical equipment.”
