ILS 5th grader Yaroslav Nazarov took 3rd place at a taekwondo meet between teams from Primorye Region and the club HLJ in Mudanjiang, China.
According to the organizers, the goals of the event are to promote development of sport and healthy lifestyles in Russia and China and to build friendly relations between Primorye Region and Heilongjiang Province in Northeast China.
"We congratulate Yaroslav on his success," says ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. "We are pleased that our students are involved sport, as it contributes to physical health, character formation and discipline."
