Students from 6th grade sections 6M1 and 6M2 paid a visit to the 83rd Blue Berets paratroopers brigade in Ussuriisk.
The students were told about how paratroopers work and the special aspects of preparation for this kind of service. They also learned about how this military group has developed in Ussuriisk, visited a local museum, and toured the brigade’s location.
On the eve of Victory Day, 7th graders from section 7M1 visited the eternal flame honoring fallen soldiers at Vladivostok’s Ship Waterfront, laying wreaths of flowers at the site. After that, just as students from 5M1 did, they went to the Primorsky Regional Youth Social Organization Aviapoisk (Air search) in Artem.
There, the students took an educational excursion to learn about the organization’s work.
“It is important to devote sufficient attention to our students’ military-patriotic instruction,” explains ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. “We invite experts to our school on a regular basis to give lectures and special lessons, and we also take our students on field trips.”
