At the All-Russian Congress “My Country”, held in St. Petersburg on April 18-21, ILS was recognized as one of Russia’s Top 500 educational organizations, winning a prize in the “Leader in implementing innovative technologies” category. The competition was organized by the “Neva Educational Assembly” socio-professional association.
A total of 10,000 educational institutions were included in the competition by the event’s council of experts. The field was then reduced to 2,500 contestants and in the end, 500 finalists were awarded diplomas and medals at the grand closing of the congress.
“We are very pleased that our school was awarded a place of honor in the list of Russia’s educational institutions as a leader in the use of innovative technologies,” notes ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. In 2017, ILS was recognized as one of Russia’s Top 100 schools, and this year we have been named among the top educational organizations. I wish to congratulate all of our teachers, students and parents, all of whom had a hand in our being so honored.”
