Team Bastion 1, which includes Rinat Nigmatulin of section 6M4, took first place at the annual regional New Year’s Fencing Tournament.
“The Primorye Fencing Federation always finishes the year with this tournament,” Rinat explains. “The tradition is more than 40 years old, and is when the federation sums up the results of the year and makes plans for the future.”
“We congratulate Rinat and his team on their victory,” says ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. “We wish him new achievements and successes in fencing, a very useful activity for school children.”
