Fox Tales issue No.14: projects, foreign languages, and New Year's greetings!

The latest issue of the ILS school newspaper Fox Tales has come out, with articles by students and teachers on the most important events in the second quarter of the academic year.

“This is my fourth year writing for the newspaper,” says Elizaveta Rudenko of section 8M1. “I started with my classmate, Denis Predit, and we have written many different kinds of articles since then. For this issue, I did an interview with teachers, who wished all our students a Happy New Year. Denis wrote about his trip to Japan with pupils studying the Japanese language.”

The issue also reveals how ILS foreign language teachers chose their area of specialization and includes an interview with DNS founder Dmitry Alekseev, as well as articles about school projects and about how graduates envision their future success.

“This was my first article for Fox Tales,” explains 9th grader Lee Joon hyeok from South Korea. “I wrote about international students giving poetry readings in Russian at a recent school competition.”

The current issue offers readers 16 pages of interesting, informative material about our school.

“A school newspaper is an important part of the educational process,” explains ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. “The process helps students learn how to work with each other, as well as with teachers, adding to their soft skill abilities. More than 40 students and teachers took part in creating the new issue. Fox Tales is a truly collective effort, and I congratulate our students on the new issue and wish them success in all their creative endeavors.
