ILS students participated in lessons using VR technology. Employees of the company "VR Perseus" presented the program in the format of a complete 360 degree immersion. Wearing virtual reality goggles, some students dove into the underwater world, while others went to Russian reserves, and still others explored the continents, Eurasia and Africa.

The students saw turtles, stingrays, and dolphins, went swimming with sharks and jellyfish, and visited the underwater gardens of a large barrier reef with sunken ships, saw Elbrus and Everest, walked along the Great Wall of China, and even explored Kamchatka.

“Virtual reality helps students dive deeper into the topic being studied and makes them feel like participants in the events taking place on the screen,” says Marina Artemenko, Deputy ILS Principal for Science and Scholarship. “These are wonderful new opportunities for the study of various subjects.”

“ILS keeps up to date with and uses all modern teaching methods,” says ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. “Soon, our school will have its own virtual reality equipment, and classes using this equipment will become part of the curriculum for all our students.”
