ILS 8th graders were the first ones to test technologies of Virtual Reality in a biology lesson

The international linguistic school was provided with VR-glasses that allow students and teachers to use virtual technologies in the learning process. International students of 8m2 were lucky to try out the VR-system for the first time! 
"We have just started an anatomy course and the VR-system is a fantastic bonus for our lessons. It allows students to learn the structure of the skeleton's bones visually", says ILS biology teacher Sofia Ohotin, "VR software allows us to see a life-size skeleton, makes it possible to look at it from different sides. It enables students to learn the names of human bones in Latin. Moreover, it helps pupils to expand their knowledge about the structure of joints. The VR-system makes lessons more understandable and exciting."
"Our school believes that innovative technologies should be a part of everyday learning," says ILS Principal Olga Shevchenko. "Digitization of education would simplify the presentation of complex information, the process of remembering it and, hopefully, will motivate students to keep their noses to the grindstone."
